Jawahar is a Managing Director of Infinity Capital Partners and is responsible for leading and developing the company’s digital and financial technology business across the United States and Europe. He has over 20 years experience in software development and is recognised as an expert in developing trading systems in Investment Banking. With a background in computer programming and capital markets, Jawahar is able to quickly analyse and implement innovative solutions to driving and expanding business.
During his 17 year tenure at Citigroup he was recognized as a leader in creating innovative solutions. While at the bank, Jawahar developed extensive experience working with some of the largest global corporate clients (eg: Paypal) and FX ECNs (eg: Hotspot, Currnex) in providing integration solutions for liquidity and execution. He also led technology teams to build real-time trading and risk management platforms. As Head of FX Prime Brokerage Technology, he built real-time low latency and high trade capacity systems to enable fast-growing high volume businesses to expand rapidly. The platform grew from under few thousand transactions to million transactions a day, resulting in a rapid growth in business revenue. His award-winning platforms have not only been recognised as market leading, they have contributed to growing Citi’s FX Prime business to one of the largest businesses globally.
Using his expertise in digital banking innovation and software development, Jawahar has enabled businesses to not only integrate internal systems with external vendors and platforms seamlessly, but transform business to become not only efficient, but also to make substantial cost savings. He has created banking applications, which have become among the most used applications for market makers in across American, European and Asian, markets.
